What: Stories in Art program at the National Gallery of Art

When: Saturday, Sunday, Monday July 19- August 4 (begins at 10 a.m. Saturdays and Mondays and 11 a.m. on Sundays) 60 minutes per program

Where: The National Gallery of art in downtown Washington, D.C. The museum is accessible by Metrorail; the closest station is the Smithsonian Station (Mall exit) on the Blue and Orange lines. Limited on-street parking is also available.

Who: Ages 4-7

How much? Admission is free

Stories in Art is a great way to introduce children to art through interactive activities.  The program includes reading a book, focusing on one piece of art in the gallery and completing a hands-on activity.
